It is with great excitement that we celebrate the official signing of the 21st Century Cures Act into law by United States President, Barack Obama. Embedded in this bill is language from The Anna Westin Act. See the official press release here. We are honored to share this moment in history where Congress officially has legislation designed to help people with eating disorders. Thank you to everyone who made this possible!
In the words of Kitty Westin, No longer will families have to suffer the death of a child because they couldn’t access quality care.
